A Purr-fect Venue: Hello Kitty Fun at Rose and Grace Mini Farm
Choosing Rose and Grace Mini Farm as the party venue was a dream come true. The venue offers three distinct rooms - a mini arcade room, an indoor play area, and a party room.
Mini Arcade: Upon entering the room, you’re greeted with sounds from the mini arcade games. They’re arcade games but in the size appropriate for a young child – which is great for the little ones to reach, but a bit low to the ground for the adults. Nonetheless, it’s a nice touch for the venue to include entertainment for older kids (and adults!).
Indoor Play Area: The indoor play area is a designated room containing a colorful and soft playscape. The play area serves as a safe zone where kids could jump, slide, and play. It’s a great area for guests to wait until the party ‘officially’ starts.
Party Room: The party room is beautifully decorated with large paper flowers, rustic accents, and even a charming piano. A window in the center of the room offers a view of curious lemurs, who stopped by to greet our guests. The room also has a glass enclosure showcasing a ball python, adding a fascinating touch to the animal-themed experience.
Animal Adventures: Hands-On Activities for Guests
In addition to the indoor rooms, the farm provides endless opportunities for outdoor fun, including:
The Bunny Barn: A beautifully decorated enclosed area. This area provides a safe place for children to brush and play with an assigned bunny.
Feed Animal Friends: The venue provides feed for guests to interact and engage with the friendly goats, deer, and a cow!
Hold Baby Animals: There’s a separate area dedicated to baby goats. Here, guests have the chance to pet, snuggle, and hold the baby goats. That is… if they sit still enough to let you hold them.
Meet Exotic Animals: It’s not common to see a wallaby in Texas. But here, guests have the ability to meet and learn interesting facts about a fennec fox, a wallaby, and a Patagonian mara.

Hello Kitty Snacks and Treats
The party began at 2 PM so I opted for light snacks to keep the kids fueled for their adventures. I brought in treats and used some of the containers to visually align with the Hello Kitty theme:
Rice Krispy treats on a stick
Skewered strawberries
Nutella and banana sandwiches
Mini pigs in a blanket
A fun popcorn mix featuring snickerdoodle-flavored popcorn, colorful mini marshmallows, and circus cookies – I loved the way the Hello Kitty popcorn boxes turned out!

DIY Decor: Creating the Perfect Hello Kitty Vibe
The party room’s charming decor didn’t need much enhancement, but I couldn’t help adding some personal touches:
Hello Kitty-themed plates, napkins, and a table cover to tie everything together
A Hello Kitty and Friends backdrop paired with a rainbow tassel for photo ops
Painted wooden letters spelling my daughter’s name, each symbolizing a Hello Kitty character (Hello Kitty, Keroppi, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll)
A handmade cardboard cart with a colorful awning (pink, yellow, and blue) used to hold party favors and blended seamlessly into the decor
A cheerful pink, white, and magenta balloon bouquet featuring a large foil balloon in the shape of the number “5” to mark my daughter’s special day
